The big question. Elevators themselves can range from 20K-60K. But often, the bigger costs come from building the hoistway itself (the framework). You'll need to think of this like an addition to your home - engineers required!

A VPL can be a great option when only needing to transfer between a smaller set of steps. This is usually outdoors or in a garage to enter the main level of a home. Or when there is a small amount of steps within a home (eg. a split-level).
