ABOUT US
WHAT BUILDABLE IS MADE OF
Like many small companies, we began with two people and a big dream. We wanted to help people.

We saw two issues:
There is a huge gap in skilled trades with the knowledge to help individuals to stay safe and independent in the built environment; and
Accessibility is not seen as a health care issue when it impacts every aspect of our health and well-being.
We wanted to change this.
Our homes. Our workplaces. Our communities.
Our vision became clear:
MAKE OTTAWA MORE ACCESSIBLE FOR EVERY AGE AND ABILITY.
It turns out, a lot of people felt the same way, and our little company with a big dream has grown into an amazing group of compassionate, skilled people who are working to redefine what accessible living can look like.

WHY NURSE-MANAGED CONSUTRUCTION?
DISEASE PATHOLOGY ~ COLLABORATION ~ TRAINING ~ ADVOCACY
"An accessible renovation for someone living with quadriplegia will look & function much differently than for someone newly living with an amputation, or wanting to age in place. Understanding how certain diseases, such as MS, may progress over time, makes the difference in ensuring our team is putting together a plan that will not only work for you today - but will also stand the test of time."
