TRANQUILITY PROJECT
This primary ensuite bathroom was converted into a beautiful, accessible space for an amazing couple with varying abilities. A full barrier-free shower with a custom shaped, ceiling mounted curtain rod, sustainable bamboo shower bench, designer grab bars throughout (including the towel & toilet paper holder), deep soaker tub & ample space for movement. There are so many gorgeous features in the Tranquility Project.
AGING IN STYLE PROJECT
A stunning transformation from an outdated and inaccessible bathroom to a beautiful, bright barrier-free space.
There are custom supports throughout this new ensuite bathroom, including designer grab bars, adjustable shower heads and a flip down sustainable bamboo shower bench. A true highlight is the show-stopping marbled tile on the floor and within the shower. Who said Aging in Place meant compromising on style? Not us!
FERNSIDE PROJECT
Partnering with Architect Jay Lim, this stunning covered backyard addition allowed this family to use their space year-round without the worry or work of snow removal in our Canadian winters. The integrated wheelchair ramp (with mid-level walls to block snow & rain drifts), custom truss and inset therapeutic hot tub make this project something to celebrate!
ELEVATED WESTBORO
You have a beautiful home - and you should be able to access to ALL of it. An in-home elevator brings independence and elegance together.
Our team at BuildABLE coordinated all plans, engineering and the hoistway addition build, and our friends at Upper Canada installed the cab.
