CUSTOM WOOD OR PAVED RAMPS

Building a custom ramp may seem simple, but there is a lot to consider. Here are a few things we'll talk about:
  • Is there enough space? For every inch of rise to your door - you need one foot of length to meet building code.

  • A 1 : 12 slope can be too steep for some conditions. Will this grading work for you in the long term?

  • Snow clearing in wintertime? We can discuss options that could include a covered ramp - or heated strips.

  • Location! Location! Location! Let's consider the best options for your lifestyle - front door, to the backyard or maybe in the garage?

  • Design - as creative or simple as you'd like! Depending on scale, some projects may require an architect.

PORCH LIFTS
(AKA: VERTICAL PLATFORM LIFTS

A Vertical Platform Lift (VPL) can be a great option when only needing to transfer between a smaller set of steps.

This is usually outdoors, in a garage to enter the main level of a home, or when there are just a few steps to navigate within a home (eg. a split-level).

HOW DOES THIS WORK?

It's as easy as giving us a call to chat about your needs (and wants!). We'll come & meet with you, measure up, and discuss some options on the spot. We'll then head to the drawing board to create a great design & get a quote into your hands.
For large-scale projects, we can coordinate with architects or engineers on your behalf.
