Accessible Design & Renovations Company in Ottawa
Like many small companies, we began with two people and a big dream. We wanted to help people.
We saw two issues:
There is a huge gap in skilled trades with the knowledge to help individuals to stay safe and independent in the built environment; and
Accessibility is not seen as a health care issue when it impacts every aspect of our health and well-being.
We wanted to change this.
Our homes. Our workplaces. Our communities.
MAKE OTTAWA MORE ACCESSIBLE FOR EVERY AGE AND ABILITY.
It turns out, a lot of people felt the same way, and our little company with a big dream has grown into an amazing group of compassionate, skilled people who are working to redefine what accessible living can look like.
Our vision became clear:
WHY NURSE-MANAGED CONSTRUCTION?
DISEASE PATHOLOGY ~ COLLABORATION ~ TRAINING ~ ADVOCACY
"An accessible renovation for someone living with quadriplegia will look & function much differently than for someone newly living with an amputation - or wanting to age in place. Understanding how certain diseases, such as MS, may progress over time, makes the difference in ensuring our team is putting together a plan that will not only work for you today - but will also stand the test of time."
That said - we know that YOU are the expert in your lived experience.
You know your body and what it needs better than anyone.
We're here to make a plan work with you - and for you.
DO GREAT WORK.
DO A LOT OF GOOD.
This is an opportunity to join a great team and do work that can literally change a person's life for the better.
